Stop 82 - Neustadt

Our last postcard was sent to Neustadt, in Germany, 1630 kilometers away!

The postcard was sent to Manuela. It was sent by Luz, an Advanced 2 student who wrote on a postcard featuring one of the traditional Noia tombstones that are collected indoors (and outdoors) of Santa María a Nova, and which usually have engraved symbols or images of the trades of their users; in this case, we have one of the most spectacular ones, with a pilgrim fugure.

On the back, and among many other things, Luz comments on how surprised she was by Manuela's name, as it sounds so very Spanish to us.
