Postcrossing Meetup (Received Cards): CHRISTIAN from GERMANY

This postcard was sent to us from Germany. It was sent by Christian, who lives in Göttingen, 1715 kilometers away!

On the card we can see a lovely picture of some sort of bird; after surfing the net, I think I discovered what it is: Germans call it Stieglitz, British call it Goldfinch and Galicians call it xílgaro.

On the back of the card Christian gives us some information about himself (he likes travelling and working in the garden, for example). It also comes with some lovely stamps with more scenes from nature.

Danke, Christián!

Postcrossing Meetup (Received Cards): MARGOT from GERMANY

This postcard was sent to us from Germany. It was sent by Margot, who lives in Nuremberg, 1701 kilometers away!

On the card we can see a very funny sign that is not from Germany, but from Australia: more specifically, from Pancake Barn, Elephant Pass, Tasmania. it threatens with swift retaliation, in three languages, to anyone who should block the doors.

On the back, Margot tells us a few things about herself: her living place, her job (she works in water protection) and her good wishes for us. The card comes with a lovely seal and stamp!

Danke, Margot!
